Supervise banquet service operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Coordinates the timing of each course to correspond with the dining pace of the guests, assists in the plating and serving of meals, performs all Banquet Captain duties as needed. Assists in the clean up of the event. Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. Able to work flexible shifts to consist of morning, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have 1 year supervisory experience within Banquets or 2 years supervisory experience and 2 year banquet line staff experience. Seek and meet contact clients in order to ensure total event coordination as well as acting as direct liaison between guests and staff.

Must be able to supervise, direct and maintain the knowledge and integrity of service delivery process that includes but not limited to the following:
• Set-up (must be able to lift 50lbs)
• Audio Visual Equipment
• Food and Beverage
• Special requests
• Breakdown
• Linen
• Staging
• Food Guarantees

Must have detailed communication with Kitchen before, during and after function to ensure that guest expectations have been exceeded and that food quality controls have been met. Must be able to conduct pre-function meetings with assigned staff to review function specifics such as; menu, time line assignments and special details. Must possess knowledge of banquet etiquette as well as food handling. Must have good knowledge of food sanitation. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Need to have prior cash handling experience. Must have working knowledge of alcohol service controls and procedures. Must be able to post banquet transactions in the computer system. Performs other duties as needed by Management. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must at minimum have a California Food Handlers Card.
